At its regular meeting on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors adopted joint resolutions and approved an ordinance.
The Board adopted the Negotiated Property Tax Exchange Joint Resolutions associated with the annexation of territories into Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts Nos. 14, 15, 21, 22 and the Santa Clarita Valley Sanitation District. The proposed annexations involve residential, vacant and commercial parcels for which there is no other local agency that is able to provide off-site sewage disposal services.
In other news, the Board approved the introduction of an ordinance relating to the Fire Department that corrects a clerical error and adds a bonus provision for Battalion Chiefs. The adoption of this ordinance is on the agenda for Thursday, June 6, 2017.
