On Thursday, February 8, 2018, the Los Angeles County Fire Department held a graduation ceremony for Class 244 of the Los Angeles County Paramedic Training Institute. The ceremony took place in the Marsee Auditorium at El Camino Community College.
Deputy Fire Chief Jon O’Brien, Medical Director Dr. Clayton Kazan, Assistant Fire Chief Scott Hale, Battalion Chief Nicholas Berkuta, Battalion Chief Wesley Anzai, and Fire Captain Victor Torres were in attendance, along with cheerful family and friends to honor the 15 graduates.
During the seven month course, these new firefighter paramedics successfully completed classroom, clinical and field emergency medical training.
