SRloveandcare “Community Cares” Visits Station 120 to Say Thank You
SRloveandcare is based in India, but has been operating as a volunteer, non-profit organization in the United States for over nine years. During the month of February, SRloveandcare members are dedicating their time to honoring public safety personnel as part of their “Community Cares” outreach program, which has included visits to fire stations in the City of Irvine and Culver City. Raj Adani, a Diamond Bar resident, thought a thank-you visit to his hometown fire station—something he had never done before—would be appropriate.
“We would appreciate the opportunity to felicitate the fire personnel who have been providing selfless service to our fire prone community,” wrote Adani.
On the evening of February 19, Fire Captain Chris Adomeit, Fire Fighter Specialist Max Dymond and Fire Fighters Keith Close and Chris Espinoza greeted SRloveandcare members at Fire Station 120, where the group learned more about our services and exchanged tokens of appreciation. After the gathering, Adani expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and hometown attentiveness they received from 120’s personnel:
Hello Leticia,
Thank you very much for facilitating our “Community Cares” visit to Diamond Bar Fire station. Chris Adomeit was a gracious host and the firefighters were appreciative about our visit. We had an opportunity to discuss our Love and Care organization and also exchange some small token gifts and dessert. I have attached a few photographs from our visit. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to thank the people whom I have taken for granted all along.
Best Regards,
Raj Adani
