On Saturday, November 2, 2019, an all-female crew of the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) Lifeguard Division escorted a 58-foot racing yacht, known as the Maiden, out of Marina Del Rey harbor.
The Maiden is an all-female international crew currently on a history-making mission, sailing to 32 destinations in 17 countries around the world, including the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, India, Singapore, China, Japan and Canada.
