On Saturday, February 15, 2020, the Radio and Television News Association (RTNA) held its 70th Annual Golden Mike Awards ceremony and presented the 2020 Freedom of Information Award to public information officers in Southern California, including team members from the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD).
Attending on behalf of the Department, Fire Captain Tony Imbrenda and Fire Fighter Specialist Sky Cornell were recognized for their contribution to the free flow of information while managing major disaster incidents.
The Golden Mike Awards were held at the Hilton Universal in Universal City.
