On Thursday, February 2, 2023, the City of Claremont presented three lifesaving awards to patrons of the Claremont Club.
These good Samaritans administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and used an automated external defibrillator (AED) on another club member who suffered cardiac arrest.
Firefighters from Engine 64 and Squad 101 attended the award ceremony and had assisted in the call for service.
The patient in this incident has fully recovered and was at the event to thank everyone who saved his life that day.
