On Oct. 17, the City of South El Monte and Fire Station 90 personnel hosted the Eighth Annual Appreciation Day Pancake Breakfast and Open House. This event is organized for the community to allow residents to meet and interact with their local firefighters.
Mayor Louie Aguinaga and members of the City Council presented Fire Captain Khoi Dao and his crew with a recognition plaque in honor of their hard work and dedication to the city of South El Monte and surrounding cities.
Everyone in attendance enjoyed a hearty breakfast of pancakes, eggs and sausage, compliments of the city.
