As part of Emergency Medical Services Week, Fire Fighter Paramedic Doug Warren of Fire Station 3 was recognized Tuesday, May 17, as a “Paramedic of the Year” for outstanding prehospital care and professionalism by the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services – LAC+USC Medical Center.
Recognition was determined with input from patients, medical doctors, nurses and hospital staff.
Demonstration of the Department’s core values of caring, commitment, community, courage, teamwork and integrity is an essential element of our organization. Warren’s recognition is one of many achievements by Department members striving to provide the best service delivery in the world.
Warren graduated from the Paramedic Training Institute in 2010 as part of Class 213.
